Hi all! I'm thinking about getting a linnie soon when one becomes available from a nearby breeder. I live in northern California, and my last full experience having a bird was a over a decade ago when I still lived with my parents. I had a peach faced lovebird while my mom had a timneh african grey. I was curious how linnies compare to lovebirds if anyone has had both? I still like lovebirds (mine was a sweet little guy) but am interested in a new experience. I live on my own now with my spouse and the house has been pretty quiet, so any bird will be an adjustment. I fostered cockatiels a few years ago but had some challenges (I work from home, it was an apartment and there was a lot of contact calling - while I was working I had to distract them with the tv lol).
