That is a great idea the breeder has a camera on there! At this age, unless eating solids, I would ditch the water or use something more likely to stay clean because it can turn the crop into a real bacterial or fungal jungle if they drink fouled water and it sits for 5 or 6 hours as the crop digests. I have had luck with the plastic lip waterers placed on top of a tile to help it stay elevated and clean.

Right now he is on three feedings a day with fresh veg given every other day or so, and free access to pellets.
I routinely see him sitting in the pellet bowl chowing down.
I'll mention the water idea to the breeder and see what she thinks.

I don't see in that link any eating, but water looks nice! This is the time they need to be getting a ton of different fresh foods or else it can be tricky to get them eating them later. Are you local and get to pick up in person?

Yep! It's about an hour from my house, so pickup should be no problem.

Each day they seem to get something new, and the daily "chop" is quite diverse. He definitely won't be a seed baby.

They are so cute! Have they been out flying yet? That is the time that gets a crazy for the breeder, but important for a couple of weeks before the clip. Won't be long before he comes home.... exciting!

She fledges them and then does a light clip before they head home, hoping to see some good pics when that happens

Working on Perching and Fluttering today
They get to go to a cage during the day for playtime now, and then back to the brooder at night.

I wish that I could hear him!
